It's our 1 Year Anniversary!

The 3rd issue will be our special 1-year anniversary issue therefore there is no concrete theme but if you want to include something about a celebration, then go for it!   We are taking submissions for Fan Art, Fan Fiction, Non Fiction Essays/Articles , and Testimonials! For specific submission instructions look below.

Fanart

Rules and Guidelines

+Images from any group/member/or soloist are accepted. However, please include the subject's name/group in your submission in case someone is unfamiliar with them. +Multiple submissions are allowed. However, each image must be submitted individually. Please do not submit more than five images. +All images must be high resolution, color, and sent as a JPEG. We recommend saving any digital work under CMYK and scanning any physical artwork. +No NSFW content. Fanfare is an all-ages publication. Any images deemed "inappropriate" will be automatically rejected. +Fanfare offers an artist compensation payment of $15 to accepted submissions. These payments will be sent out via PayPal, so please include your PayPal email. +Include any online portfolios or social media accounts you would like credited if your submission is accepted. +Please include your preferred name and pronouns. +Submissions are accepted via email to mgleason903@gmail.com Address the email as "Art Submission"

Fanfiction

+Works featuring any group/member/or soloist are accepted. However, please include the subject's name/group in your submission in case someone is unfamiliar with them. +Works must be 1000-5000 words in length. +Completed works only. Please do not send excerpts of any larger works. (The first installment of a series is okay, as long as the story has a complete beginning, middle, and end) +Any genre is accepted. However, please do not send "Person x You" stories written in 2nd person. It will be rejected. +Multiple submissions are allowed. However, each submission must be submitted individually. Please do not submit more than three stories. +Written works must be grammatically correct and adhere to standard CMS formatting. +Fanfare reserves the right to make minor edits to written work regarding grammar, formatting, and consistency before publication. +No NSFW content. Fanfare is an all-ages publication. Any content deemed "inappropriate" will be automatically rejected. +Fanfare offers a writer compensation payment of $10 to accepted submissions. Non-Fiction
Essay

+Works featuring any group/member/or soloist are accepted. However, please include the subject's name/group in your submission in case someone is unfamiliar with them. +Works must be 500-1000 words in length. +Essays are educational written works meant to share information and inform the audience. You can write about any K-pop-related topic, but please do not submit opinion pieces. +All essays must contain factual information with provided sources. + +Multiple submissions are allowed. However, each submission must be submitted individually. Please do not submit more than three entries. +Written works must be grammatically correct and adhere to standard CMS formatting. +Fanfare reserves the right to make minor edits to written work regarding grammar, formatting, and consistency before publication. +No NSFW content. Fanfare is an all-ages publication. Any content deemed "inappropriate" will be automatically rejected. +Include any online portfolios or social media accounts you would like credited if your submission is accepted. +Please include your preferred name and pronouns. +Fanfare offers a writer compensation payment of $10 to accepted submissions. Testimonials

Rules and Guidelines

+Tell us your K-pop story! How has K-pop affected you? How did it begin? What fun things have happened since? Testimonials can be any story you wish to share about yourself and K-pop. Whether that be your journey or just a fun experience, we want to hear it! +Works must be 100-500 words in length. +Testimonials are meant to be about YOUR experience from your perspective. Please do not write about someone else. +Written works must be grammatically correct and adhere to standard CMS formatting. +Fanfare reserves the right to make minor edits to written work regarding grammar, formatting, and consistency before publication. +No NSFW content. Fanfare is an all-ages publication. Any content deemed "inappropriate" will be automatically rejected. +Please include your preferred name and pronouns. +Submissions are accepted via google forms! Click on the Submit Button.

Photo Contest

For our 3rd Issue Fanfare is hosting a Fit Check Photo Contest! Show us your best K-Pop inspired outfit or best Concert fit! Entries will be posted on our website from July 21st - July 31st for voting. The Top 3 winner will each receive a prize (to be disclosed later) as well as get a photoshoot by Fanfare to be featured in a 2 page spread in the magazine. Entry is open to anyone.

Small Business Ad

For the 3rd issue of Fanfare, we are offering advertisement space for local K-pop small business. You can choose between a quarter page, half-page or full-page feature. The image for this will be provided by you or, for an extra fee, you can have it designed by a member of the Fanfare team. Space for these features is limited so get yours in early!
